Scrapping Recipe Challenge #19

Happy Friday!! I can't believe it's Friday already!Wohooo!
It's time for another one of Scrapping Recipe Challenge from Sketches! {by tamara}. Here is the card that I submitted for this week's.

The recipe called for the use of felt, stickles and office supply or a library pocket.

I combined images and sentiment from two different sets, "Fall Season" and "Autumn Foliage" from Inkadinkado for my Fall card. Of course, I used my favorite Nestabilities: Classic Ovals and rectangles:-))) The orange background panel is embossed using one of my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folders. And , I stamped sentiment onto Vellum paper. I used my Oval Nestabilities to create the various layers. The leaves are stamped onto cream c.s. with Gingerbread (VersaMagic ink) and then I sponge (colored) with Adirodack inks. The final elements I added some felt leaves, Round Clip and Stickles.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Inkadinkado
Papers: Brown, Orange, Cream c.s., Clear Vellum paper
Inks: Gingerbread (VersaMagic); Cotton White (StazOn), Terra Cotta and Caramel (Adirondack); Butterscotch (Inque Boutique)
Accessories: Felt, Stickles, Ribbon, Mini gold round Clip
Tools: Spellbinders Nestabilities oval and rectangle collections, Cuttlebug and embossing folder, Paper Piercer.

Scrapping Recipe Challenge #17

Happy Monday to you all!!!
This is the card that I made for the Sketches! {by tamara} Recipe Challenge today. This week's required ingredients were something clear, ribbon and something to give dimension.

I used Cornucopia image from Inkadinkado for my challenge card. First, I stamped the main image on White c.s. with Brilliance Graphite Black ink and colored it in with PRISMACOLOR markers. I used my Rectangle Nestabilities to create the layered and scalloped Rectangle (using my Cuttlebug;-). I added the green strips with ribbon and circle-punched with clear buttons. The sentiment is from Studio G (Michaels). For dimensions I added a little bee ("Sunflower" set from Inque Boutique). I added some piercings, ribbon, clear buttons, a little sponging and some stitching for the finishing touches. Looking for for more inspiration for this Scrapping Recipe Challenge? Scrapping Recipe Challenge #16

Happy Tuesday to you all! It's time for Scrapping Recipe Challenge from Sketches! {by tamara}. Today's Challenge #16. This weeks Recipe came from Linda, one of the Recipe Design Team Members. I was following the propoused recipe and was using real sewing, ribbon and
paper tearing.

First, I stamped winter pattern and snowflakes ("Flurries" set from Inque Boutique) with brown ink on background paper. Then, I stamped sentiment (Delta) with light blue ink in the circle of the winter pattern. Next, I sewed a border around the edges of the panel. Even though I had sponged the edges with Whispers Chestnut ink from Inque Boutique. And next, I Layered the panel to the distressed-edges background paper. I added two blue photo holders to the bottom corners of the panel and layered the panels to a top-folded dark brown card. For the finishing touches, I added green rain dots and blue clipboard with ribbon.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Flurries (Inque Boutique), Sentiment (Delta)
Papers: Brown c.s., Patterned paper (My Mind's Eye)
Inks: Vintage Sepia (Versafine), Chestnut (Inque Boutique)
Accessories: Ribbon, Rain dots, Blue photo holders, Blue clipboard
Tools: Sewing machine

Thanks for visiting! Have a Wonderful Day!
